ZLIN promo 2008 (ZLiNY)

A promotional film entitled "ZLIN promo 2008" intended for the unique ZLíNY (Zlín In New York) exhibition has been shot in the Otruba video brothers studio ( http://www.otruba.eu ), made up of talented students of the Audiovisual Arts studio of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications (Tomas Bata University).

The film was made by: BcA. Jan Otruba (director and producer), Martin Dedek (cameraman), doc. MgA. Jana Janíková, ArtD. (scriptwriter), Veronika Mikalová (music dramaturgy) and Martin Jůza (animated introduction) for ZLíNY event.

Historically, the exhibition entitled ZLíNY is the most extensive presentation on a Czech region given in the USA. The exhibition will run from 15 May to 31 July 2008 and will acquaint its attendees with the architecture, history, design, fashion, film, education, tourism and commerce of Zlín. A collection of artistic photos made in the University Centre in Zlín (the photographs for which Miss World 2006 Taťána Kuchařová was posing in the dresses designed by Šárka Šišková, M.F.A., were taken by Lucie Robinson), a fashion show entitled 'The Cities inside of Me' by Šárka Šišková, M.F.A., and a lecture on architecture given by a Zlín native, Prof. Eva Jiřičná will be among the biggest attractions of the exhibition.

The new promotional film will thus cover all the spheres by which the town of Zlín (Czech Republic) would like to present itself to the world. Besides attracting tourists and investors, it will enable Czech compatriots to take delight in the present state of the town.
