Rhiannon and Chris head out into the Square to interview the cast and crew. For a small film it was a surprisingly big and energetic crowd for the premiere of Adulthood. The sequel to cult teen movie Kidulthood drew a large mostly pubescent crowd. Writer/director/star actor Noel Clarke looked very pleased with the event, wearing big sunglasses and an even bigger grin. Although the cast is largely young and unknown to most there was a bit of celeb action. Noel's Dr who co-star Camille Coduri was lovely, happily posing for pictures. Rising stars Alfie Allen and girlfriend Jamie Winston also spent a lot of time signing and chatting with the crowd. Big Brother victim and serial Wag Danielle Lloyd reminded the world she still exists by flaunting her newfound curves. Whilst Skins star Nicholas Hoult and Easternder Scarlett Johnson drew the biggest shrieks from the crowd. Other guests included Tasmin Egerton (St Trininans), Lisa Mafia and Ashley Walters.
The atmosphere was quite relaxed probably due to the lack of megastars but it was easy to get autographs and enough to keep the young crowd happy.
