I Hear You Knocking - Strongman Paul Anderson

I have this weird knack of putting images and music together, no matter the lyrics. I remember Paul Anderson coming to our gym in 1973 to speak and give power demonstrations. Around that same time, this song "IHYK" was popular, and the beat and music reminded me of this strongman waddling around our gym, and performing herculean feats, and driving a ten-penny nail through a 2x6 piece of wood with nothing but a handkerchief-protected hand. When he blasted the nail through, it sounded like a pistol went off. It took a couple of seconds for us students to grasp the magnitude of what he did, then we gave him a standing ovation.
